Learn how to make a fantastic Focaccia

This week I made a video about how to make one of my own baking specialities. Focaccia! I have been making it for many years, but I only perfected my technique recently.

The whole process is simple, and if you follow the little extra "secret" steps you can achieve a delicious result. You will become the success of any party.

Ingredients: (for 3/4 people)

400g of water (not too cold)

7g of dried yeast

10g of salt

500g of bread flour

For the toppings:

rosemary

salt

extra virgin olive oil

1) Dissolve the yeast into the water

2) Add the flour and salt and mix everything for around 2 mins, trying to incorporate as much air as possible

3) Cover( either cling film or a kitchen towel) and rest for 40 mins

4) Do a turn like in the video

5) Rest for 30 mins

6) Put the mixture onto an oiled tray(olive oil).

7) Do a turn like in the video

8) Rest for 20/30 mins

9) Put the toppings on top

10) Finally, make dimples with your wet fingers (very cold water)

11) Bake for 20 mins at 200 degrees

12) Remove from the tray into an airy surface, let it cool down and enjoy it warm.
